William Sends Heartfelt Birthday Wishes to 'Incredible' Wife Kate

The Prince of Wales has shared a heartfelt birthday message for his wife, Catherine, as she celebrates her 43rd birthday.
"To the most incredible wife and mother. The strength you've shown over the last year has been remarkable," William wrote in a personal message shared on social media.
"George, Charlotte, Louis, and I are so proud of you. Happy Birthday, Catherine. We love you. W."
The princess has resumed her royal duties after undergoing preventative chemotherapy following a cancer diagnosis last year. Kensington Palace shared William's touching message alongside a previously unseen photograph of Catherine, taken by photographer Matt Porteous in Windsor last summer.
The black-and-white image captures the princess looking relaxed and smiling, dressed casually in jeans, a white shirt, and a scarf. The photo reflects the couple's preference for informal imagery, moving away from traditional royal portraits.
The Royal Family also extended their birthday wishes, with their official social media account sharing a message on X: "Happy Birthday to The Princess of Wales!" accompanied by a birthday cake emoji. The post featured a photo of Catherine receiving flowers from well-wishers during her attendance at church in Sandringham on Christmas Day.
This marked the last public appearance of the Prince and Princess of Wales together. Catherine is understood to be celebrating her birthday privately at their Windsor home with William and their three children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
William has previously described 2024 as "the hardest year" of his life, noting that his father, the King, was also diagnosed with cancer.
In December, the Prince and Princess of Wales shared their Christmas card, featuring an image from the emotional video Catherine recorded to announce the conclusion of her chemotherapy.
The video, filmed in Norfolk last August, carried a heartfelt message from Catherine: "Out of darkness can come light," emphasizing the importance of family and resilience in challenging times.
