Who Is Delorean Bijon Brandon? The Case of Christina Downer’s Disappearance and Suspected Murder
The boyfriend of Christina Downer, sister of SNL writer Jimmy Fowlie, has been charged in connection with her suspected murder alongside another woman, as investigators continue searching for her missing body.

The investigation into the disappearance of Christina Downer, the sister of Saturday Night Live writer Jimmy Fowlie, has developed into a suspected murder case, with her boyfriend, Delorean Bijon Brandon, among those charged in connection with her death.
Brandon, 41, is from Los Angeles and was in a relationship with Downer when she disappeared in September 2025. According to the information cited in the court documents, he later told police that she had moved out of their shared home. Her belongings, including her car and dog, were reportedly left behind.
Concern about Downer's whereabouts grew in December 2025, when her former husband requested a welfare check after being unable to reach her. Investigators subsequently discovered her cellphone washed up on a beach in Santa Monica.
In April 2026, her brother Jimmy Fowlie publicly stated that the family had reason to believe she was no longer alive. He also alleged that someone had accessed her phone and social media accounts after she vanished, creating the impression that she had chosen to disappear voluntarily.
The case took a significant turn in October 2026, when Brandon and 34-year-old Kaylee Markowski were arrested and charged in connection with Downer's suspected murder. Her body has not been found.
What is known about Brandon?
According to court records shared by Los Angeles Magazine and cited by other media outlets, Brandon has previous convictions dating back to 2008 for robbery and attempted robbery, as well as a conviction for criminal threats in 2015.
Prosecutors allege that Brandon killed Downer on or around September 19, 2025. Markowski, described by the district attorney's office as Brandon's girlfriend, is accused of assisting him in disposing of Downer's body.
The allegations remain part of an ongoing criminal case. The available information does not establish a final judicial determination of either defendant's guilt, and Downer's body remains missing.
