National Bank of Egypt – New York Branch Hosts Annual Ramadan Iftar in Distinguished Diplomatic Gathering
Diplomatic leaders and community figures gather to celebrate Ramadan and strengthen ties with the Egyptian diaspora in the United States
New York – In a warm and spiritually uplifting Ramadan atmosphere, the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) – New York Branch hosted its annual Iftar reception, bringing together a distinguished group of diplomatic leaders and community figures.
The event was led by Mr. Khaled El Ghorab, General Manager of the National Bank of Egypt – New York Branch, and was attended by H.E. Ambassador Tamer Meligy, Consul General of the Arab Republic of Egypt in New York; H.E. Ambassador Mohamed Idris, Permanent Representative of the African Union to the United Nations; and H.E. Ambassador Ihab Awad, Permanent Representative of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the United Nations. Also in attendance were Consul Mahmoud Khalifa and Counselor Mostafa Essam, along with members of the Egyptian community and leaders from the banking and business sectors.
The gathering reflected the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan, fostering dialogue, unity, and strengthened ties between national institutions and the Egyptian diaspora in the United States.
