Authorities responded to a 911 call just after 8 a.m. local time and discovered Trachtenberg unconscious and unresponsive in her Manhattan residence. Emergency Medical Services pronounced her dead at the scene. The New York Police Department stated that no criminal activity is suspected, and the investigation is ongoing. The official cause of death will be determined by the Medical Examiner's office.
