Speaking with TN News, the Carter DeLuca partner discusses protecting new technologies and building relationships beyond the United States.

NEW YORK — TN News — George Likourezos, a partner at intellectual property law firm Carter, DeLuca & Farrell LLP, highlighted the C3 Summit as a valuable meeting place for healthcare companies, innovators, and organizations seeking international partnerships.

In a conversation with TN News, Likourezos described a longstanding relationship with the summit and its founder, Ransel Potter. He said his firm’s sponsorship began with his first attendance and continued while a colleague represented the firm during his four-year absence.

Returning carried a personal significance.

“I enjoyed the show. I missed it so much,” Likourezos said, describing Potter as a friend and supporter of the firm who had provided referrals over the years.

For Likourezos, the summit’s relevance is closely connected to the clients his firm serves.

“We’re an intellectual property law firm, so we help companies like medical device companies, healthcare companies protect their innovations and technology,” he explained.

That work makes opportunities to connect with healthcare businesses and technology developers particularly valuable. Likourezos described C3 as a forum where his team can meet people, develop professional relationships, and present its expertise.

Asked what message he would share with TN News audiences, he encouraged organizations with international ambitions to consider the summit.

“If you’re looking for strategic partnerships with private business, government, this is the place to be,” he said.

He also emphasized opportunities to build relationships with healthcare providers and organizations beyond the United States, describing C3 as a conference serving a broad range of professional interests.

“This is a well-rounded conference that provides a lot for many people.”

His comments offer a participant’s perspective on C3’s value: a setting where the protection of new ideas, the development of business relationships, and the search for international partners can become part of the same conversation.
