The Community Care RX CEO received the LifeSpire Man of Honor Award in recognition of his contributions and longstanding partnership with the organization.

LifeSpire celebrated its 75th anniversary by recognizing individuals whose service and advocacy have supported people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Among the honorees was Dr. Hossam Maksoud, CEO of Community Care RX, who received the LifeSpire Man of Honor Award.
In his acceptance remarks, Dr. Maksoud reflected on Community Care RX’s longstanding relationship with LifeSpire, acknowledging the commitment that has sustained their partnership for more than a decade. He also recalled the challenges of the COVID-19 period and expressed appreciation for the relationships behind their continued work together.
Looking ahead, he reaffirmed his commitment to continuing the partnership. He thanked his family, including his son, as well as the Community Care RX team.
The introduction preceding his speech highlighted Community Care RX’s role in providing specialized pharmacy services and around-the-clock clinical support for the people LifeSpire serves. It also emphasized Dr. Maksoud’s appreciation for the professionals who provide direct care.
According to the introductory remarks, Community Care RX holds an annual gathering to honor direct support professionals with certificates and financial recognition. Participation extends beyond organizations that are customers of the company, reflecting an effort to recognize dedication across the wider care community.
That recognition connected with a central theme of the evening: the importance of respecting and supporting those whose daily work helps people with disabilities live with dignity and greater opportunity.
As LifeSpire marked 75 years, the gala celebrated both its legacy and the people helping carry its mission forward. Dr. Maksoud’s recognition highlighted the contribution of lasting partnerships, professional service, and continued community involvement.
